Deck 146 is a very large open plan, four level home just a ten minute walk to central Queenstown on level ground through the beautiful Queenstown Gardens.
The house has five bedrooms and sleeps up to 12
Bed configurations are changeable to suit your group: For example:
2 Queen and 6 single beds OR
2X Queen, 2X Super-king and 2X Single beds
PLUS a fold down Single couch in top Queen bedroom and a good quality Single roll-away bed
depending on guest numbers, length of stay and season.
The dining suite seats up to 8 guests with an additional couple of dining chairs available.
The top storey Queen bedroom has breath-taking full-scale views of the Remarkables mountain range from the private deck. A tiled ensuite and walk-in wardrobe make this a sanctuary from the busy household below. A single fold-down sofabed in this room is perfect for a young child.
A second Queen room on the living-area floor also includes a large tiled bathroom, walk-in and dressing room.
The lower storey contains three Twin Single bedrooms (two sets of which can join up to make King beds). Two of these rooms open outside to share a balcony. The family/guest bathroom on this level has a bath and shower with separate toilet.
Mid-level comprises the study area, modern, fully equipped kitchen and visitors washroom. Two lounges offer SKY TV in one room and a separate TV with small DVD library. The sound system includes iPod/MP3 player and separate CD Sound System. Landline phone for free local calls, good cellphone coverage and free WiFi internet.
For Winter warmth, tiled areas have underfloor heating. The gas-fire, nightstore heater, heat-pump & electric blankets take care of the rest.
Sit outside in the evening sun on the private barbecue deck
The fully equipped laundry leads out to the outside washing-line.
The double garage is ground-floor with plenty of storage space, & there is off-street parking for up to three cars.
Deck 146 is perfect for large groups on bike holidays – plenty of space in the garage for storing bikes and you join the endless bike trails right at the bottom of the driveway.
So close to town – just a 10 minute stroll along the lake and through the botanical gardens to Central Queenstown.
Many houses sleep this number of guests, but at Deck 146 the many living spaces and decks allow all to mix or withdraw as they wish.
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for last week. We had a great time and absolutely loved the place!…
Thanks for all your help and cooperation in sorting it all out and hopefully we’ll be able to stay there next time we’re in town!
“Deck 146 was a fantastic place to stay and I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Queenstown. The place was able to comfortably accommodate 13 of us and Marie & Laurice went the extra mile to ensure our stay was up to the standards they advertised. The living area was very spacious and the view from the deck was nothing short of breathtaking. Deck 146 was a fantastic and I would not hesitate in staying there again.” Nicholas Wilkinson
