Q by the Lake is within close proximity to all local amenities including town centre, restaurants, water activities, gondola, adventure sports, golf courses, ski fields, walking/biking tracks and the International/Domestic Airport. It is a short walk down to the lakefront from which you can walk into town or along the lakefront towards Frankton. This property is located in a quiet residential area and not suited to parties.

In the winter the ski buses pickup and dropoff at the top of the driveway (less than 5 minute walk). It is a short taxi ride into the centre of town if you don’t want to walk.  There is also parking in the garage for 2 vehicles (see house rules).

No loud parties – please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum. Extra charges will apply if we get called out for noise complaints and anti-social behaviour.

This property is 100% smoke free – No smoking inside or outside the property or outside the adjacent properties.  No spitting,  no dropping cigarettes, ash or rubbish on the driveway, in the garden or outside the adjacent properties.  A NZ$500 fee will apply for failure to comply to this rule.

We request you take your shoes off when in the house.

Parking:

There is parking in the garage only and it is for 2 vehicles.  IMPORTANT: Please note the parking is for cars and SUV’s only we DO NOT provide parking (even if only pickup and drop off) for vans or oversized vehicles.  If you have any doubts please let us know what type of vehicle you plan to have and we can advise if it will fit in the garage.

Guests cannot have pickup or drop off services to the front door especially if in a van/bus this must be done at the top of the driveway.

The house is to be left tidy with dishes done, wet towels on bathroom tiles not bedroom floors or beds, rubbish in the big bins provided and all windows and doors locked.

If you use the BBQ you must clean it.  Extra charges apply if you don’t. We do provide cleaning products.

Per the local council by-laws we request you do not use the balcony between 10pm and 7am.

Rubbish bins to be put out for collection on Monday night for Tuesday morning collection. Refer to the in-house compendium for more details.

This was a stunning property to soak in the stunning Queenstown view. Beautifully appointed with everything you would expect. Very warm and comfortable. Multiple lounge areas, great for families. Deb our host was fantastic. Always responded quickly t any enquiry we had. Can’t wait to go back!
